Quantum Circuit

A summary of details regarding the quantum circuit used for this calculation.

Number of qubits

The number of qubits used to represent the target CAS wavefunction. This value is equal to two times number of orbitals, because one qubit corresponds to one spin-orbital.

Number of params

The number of parameters in the quantum circuit.

Number of gates

The number of gates in the quantum circuit.

1-qubit gates

The number of 1-qubit gates.

2-qubit gates

The number of 2-qubit gates.

Sampling

The calculation results with Sampling simulator are summarized here.

Observable groups

The number of operator groups that can be simultaneously measured in the cost function.

Total shots

The total number of the measurements performed, i.e. the number of samples.

Estimated execution time

The estimated execution time to perform the calculation with a real quantum computer.

Superconductor (s)

The estimated execution time with a superconducting quantum computer.

Trapped ion (s)

The estimated execution time with an ion trap quantum computer.
